What is the validity of the Antigen Rapid Test (ART) certificate? Can you explain the 24 hour period?
The typical validity period of the Antigen Rapid Test (ART) certificate is 24 hours. Please note however that the 24 hours should cover the entire duration of the event (e.g. if the event is from 9am to 5pm tomorrow, the ART test should be taken only after 5pm today)

How can I apply for Antigen Rapid Test (ART) testing at my premises? What is needed? How much does KRH charge?

We will conduct a site recce and explain the site set-up. The space requirements will depend on the anticipated attendance and workflow. We can provide high capacity testing by scaling up our testing teams accordingly, but this will require adequate space for operations.


KRH will submit the offsite testing plan to MOH for approval on your behalf at no charge. Please note that a lead up time of at least 1 week may be necessary for approval.

We do not charge for offsite deployment, though a minimum headcount for billing will be necessary.

How long do you need for site setup for Antigen Rapid Test (ART)? What if it is a multiday event?
We will need at least 30 minutes for site set-up. For multiday events, we can opt to either leave the set-up as it is through the event, or perform set-up and take down on a daily basis. We will need a secure area for storage of equipment.
How much space is needed for Antigen Rapid Test (ART) test site setup?
Space needs will be dependent on the attendance as well as service capacity requested. We will advise upon site recce.
What documents are needed for Antigen Rapid Test (ART)?
For Antigen Rapid Tests (ART), we will need proof of identity by way of your NRIC/FIN/Passport.
Can I mass register my participants for the Antigen Rapid Test (ART)?
Yes, you can prepare a list of attendees whom will need Antigen Rapid Tests (ART) for us. We will then pre-register participants within our system and this will allow us to serve all faster.
Why must there be PRPP for the Antigen Rapid Test (ART)?
PRPP is necessary when our clinics conduct Antigen Rapid Test (ART). It is a manner which allows us to update the MOH as well as ascertain the risk categories of patients whom are undergoing the ART
When do I get test results for Antigen Rapid Test (ART)? How are the results delivered?
Antigen Rapid Test (ART) results will be available in 15 to 30 minutes after the test is performed. Results will be sent to the registered SMS/email in a standard format.
What happens if Antigen Rapid Test (ART) is positive?

If the ART test is positive, we will conduct the COVID-19 Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) swab test at the same sitting. The Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test will take 24-30hrs for processing. We will not be able to provide an ART test certificate.


You are to isolate yourself at home upon positive ART test until the results of the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) is known. If the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test is positive, we will initiate a referral to NCID for further management. If the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test is negative, we will be able to provide a certificate to state that your Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test is negative.

What if the Antigen Rapid Test (ART) results is inconclusive?

If ART test is inconclusive, we will conduct another ART test on the spot for you on a complimentary basis. Please note that we will not be able to provide certification for you.


If the repeat ART test remains inconclusive, we will proceed to conduct the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test for you. The PCR test which will take 24-30 hours for report turnaround, you are required to remain isolated till the result is negative. Confirmatory PCR swab to everyone who tested ART-positive/double-invalid will be funded by the Government.

MOH COVID-19 guidelines
  • We can perform the COVID-19 swab test for up to 4 people per visit
  • The test should ideally be done near the doorway of your home, if possible. Furniture, walls and other contact surfaces should be non-absorbent.
  • Ventilate the room or home by opening the doors and windows. It can also take place outside of your home such as the garden, yard, balcony, etc.
  • Keep a safe distance from everyone (at least 2 metres) during the home swab test.
  • Inform us if any of the patients are experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19 such as coughing, breathing difficulties, fatigue, or fever.


What are swab and serology tests?
A swab test is done to test for the presence of a current infection. It is also known as the RT-PCR (Real Time- Polymerase Chain Reaction) swab test. The usual turnaround time for the test result is about 12 to 48 hours. Please opt for an Express Swab for test results to be out in about 2 to 3 hours post-test. A serology test (through blood-taking) helps to determine a past infection. It is also known as the IgG/IgM (Immunoglobulins) antibody test.
How long will the swab and serology tests take?
The swab test will take 15 minutes while the serology test will take 15 to 30 minutes. Please note that before performing the swab test and serology test at your home, our staff will spend 5 minutes verifying some of your personal particulars such as your name and IC/passport number.
Can I order a swab and serology test for my children?
KRH possesses the capability to conduct testing for children at home. However, please take note of the minimum age as follows: Swab: 7 years old and above Serology: 12 years old and above
How will I receive my health certificate?
Your health certificate will be issued to the email address that is indicated on the form.
Can my health certificate be sent to multiple emails?
In compliance with MOH regulations, we will only be able to send your health certificate to a maximum of 2 email addresses.
Why haven't I received my health certificate yet?
If your health certificate has yet to reach your inbox, do check your junk mail and spam folders in case it was placed in those mailboxes.
Can I request for a swab test if I am showing symptoms (flu, cough, fever, etc)?
If you are feeling unwell and are demonstrating symptoms such as cough, running nose, fever, sore throat and loss of smell, please visit a clinic instead for immediate attention.
I don't have symptoms, should I get swabbed?
You do not need to be symptomatic to take a COVID-19 swab test. Individuals working in high-risk jobs or who simply want a peace of mind can opt to take a swab test anytime.
